This research discusses about the FTTH network planning in Solo area. Fiber to the Home
(FTTH) is a format for optical signal transmission from the central provider (provider) to the user
area by using an optical fiber as a transmissi on medium. The development of fiber optic technology can replace the use of copper wires. Fiber optics has become a very easy method for data transmission that is free from interference and fast , fiber optics is not problematic on electromagnetic interference and temperature changes. This study aims to select and place devices for Fiber To The Home Network as well as analyzing the transmission power link budget parameters corresponding technical requirements to meet the standards in the area of Solo. Results FTTH design planning can be seen that in scenario 1: 2 1:16 fewer require e
quipment such as cable distribution and use of the ODP of 2.94 km total of 39 pieces, that means that fewer expenses to be incurred by the company.
Link power budget analysis results indicate that the design of the 3 scenarios 1:32, 1: 4 1: 8, and 1: 2 1:16 meets the standards of good quality. Average damping obtained in this plan is 20-21 dB means FTTH network planning made good on this design because the damping value is not more than 28 dB
